About Kyle:
“After graduating from Lakewood High, I left for college and law school, but knew I would return to raise a family. Growing up in Lakewood, I fell in love with the diversity of backgrounds of my friends, classmates, and neighbors. I’m the youngest of seven and come from a blue-collar family (my dad was a union carpenter). I’m proud that I was the first in my family to earn a college degree. I married the love of my life (Allison) in 2012, and we are raising our two young boys (Grant and Bennett) and dog (Champ) in the Lakewood home we bought in 2013. I want my children to grow up in the thriving multicultural, multi-generational, and socioeconomically diverse community that was vital to my own development as a complete and well-rounded person.”
“I practiced law for five years at a national law firm in the Construction & Government Contracts practice group. In that time, I counseled both government and business clients in the unique challenges of local development projects.
I am proud to currently serve as the Senior Assistant Legal Counsel & Director of Real Estate for Cleveland Metroparks. I have overseen the development and stewardship of over 1,000 acres of new park during my tenure, including the Wendy Park Bridge, Whiskey Island Connector and Red Line Greenway.
I am a Board Member of West Park Kamm’s Neighborhood Development, a former Loaned Executive to the United Way of Greater Cleveland and a graduate of the 2016 Cleveland Bridge Builders class.
I am running for Lakewood City Council because I believe I can leverage my unique background, and deep experience, in support of sustaining and building Lakewood as a great place to live.”
